CAM Educational Services- One of the most prestigious after-school tutoring and Children's Tech programs in the northern Peninsula area. We are a young educational start-up that serves professional and high-level executives' families in the San Mateo, Burlingame, San Bruno, South San Francisco, Hillsborough, and Millbrae areas. We provide a "Tech Start-up" like open office working environment for our staff and students. We serve students ranging from K- to 8th Grader.

General Job Functions
Lead and supervise a team of teachers to create unique and engaging classroom experiences to meet operational excellence standards
Ability to problem-solve and decisions making as needed in accordance with good professional judgment, honesty, and integrity
Recruit, hire, manage and provide ongoing development and support to teachers and center staff
Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, school and district leaders, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children on our sites
Conduct conferences with prospective customers to review their child’s needs and deliver new enrollments for CAM’s programs and services
Develop and maintain relationships with parents, local schools, and business communities and actively participate in community events as a CAM representative
Set a clear improvement plan, goal, and target for each team member.
Maintain all supplies, equipment, and materials—inform the central office when new/additional supplies are needed
Assure Transportation & Shift Schedule are efficient and up to date
Work in a team environment and encourage open communication regarding concerns/issues with children, parents, or coworkers
Initiate and maintain positive relationships with school staff including the administrative staff, custodial staff, and teachers of key importance to the after-school programs
Responsibilities When Interacting with Children
Consistently demonstrate positive interaction with all children; talk to them and treat them with dignity and respect
Keep a consistent headcount on all children present at the site; communicate changes with all other staff; maintain accurate documentation of attendance
Express clear expectations and hold children accountable for adhering to them
Help children to develop positive self-esteem and a sense of self-worth
Ensure that children’s homework is being properly corrected by secondary staff and required assistance is effectively provided
Consistently demonstrate and reinforce the values of caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility
Responsibilities When Interacting with Parents
Positively ID parents before releasing children (picture ID necessary until you can personally identify them)
Introduce yourself to parents and communicate with them regularly regarding program information such as schedule changes or activities.
Communicate on a daily basis regarding the behavior of their children positive and negative.
Express appreciation for parents’ interest in their child’s participation in the program

Must have a "Start-up" operation mindset
Never see any task as "Too Big" or "Too Small" with a can-do attitude
Meet deadlines in the planning and implantation of the monthly or weekly calendars for the program which includes the creation and daily adherence to engaging enriching programming
Create a formal, schedule, and hold staff meeting agendas as needed to address staff issues
Effectively direct, supervise, and evaluate the job performance of all secondary staff
Communicate with Center Director to discuss the general progress of the program; immediately regarding incident/behavior reports on children or with staff concerns; relay all other information in a timely manner
Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, absences, emergencies, and issues regarding children and staff. Ability to keep confidence, loyalties, and professionalism regarding these issues
Effectively implement emergency procedures appropriate to the site

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experienced and knowledgeable in STEAM and Tech-Programs such as programming, game development, virtual reality, 3D Printing, Robotics, etc.
At least five years of teaching or educational experience and 2 years leadership experience in an educational organization with the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team
A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively
Bilingual in any language will be a plus
