CAM Educational Services is an innovative, educational Start-Up, and of the most prestigious after-school tutoring and Children's Tech programs in the northern Peninsula area. We are a young educational start-up that serves professional and high-level executives' families, and we are also in partnership with school districts in San Mateo, Burlingame, San Bruno, South San Francisco, Hillsborough, and Millbrae areas to provide enrichment programs towards underprivileged families. We serve students ranging from K- to 8th Grader.


We are seeking self-motivated Business Development Strategists to assist the Business Development Team's daily operations and achieve their goals and visions. This position reports to the Business Development Department Director.


Our ideal candidate: A self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and resourcefulness in this fast-paced department, and someone who gets excited by the opportunity to make an outsized impact by promoting creative educational programs that are helping the next generation. We are growing quickly and we want you to grow with us!


In this role you will be:
  • Building relationships that drive revenue with eagerness to strive for “face to face” conversations to fully explain services to be provided and answer client questions

  • Developing strong, authentic, and ongoing relationships with prospect clients and partners

  • Creating and reviewing proposals with the Business Development Director and be able to determine the optimal method for proposal presentation

  • Needed to be available for RFP walks, sidewalks, zoom calls and board meetings to encourage contract approvals and follow-up at appropriate intervals until a decision is made by the client

  • Expected to review contract documentation for each project that is won. Consult with the Business Development Manager, and/or Owner as needed

  • Meet and exceed all profitability performance goals (at the targeted level)

  • Effectively and efficiently manage the established Business Development function to achieve all budget objectives

  • Building scalable demand generation campaigns

  • Working collaboratively and directly with the Management team on revenue-generating strategies

  • Providing a world-class prospect and partner experience

  • Business-critical ad-hoc projects (after all, we’re a startup!)

  • Be the Point of contact to our vendor/community partner/ clients.

  • Learn and get familiar with CRM software to track all activities and account information up to date

  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize partnership and sales efforts
